Hee Haw! Rodeo time again.
The Lanes played host to Probable Cause for a full
weekend of post-rodeo music. These folks go all
out for rodeo visitors itching to dance, including set
up of this awesome stage right over the bowling lanes
along with a full "false floor" that covers the
hardwood and makes for a perfect dance floor.
Even the guest tables hide the ball return-y things
and the whole place is magically transformed into a
first rate dance hall.

Friday night, Absent John, due to
family reunion obligations, we were blessed to have
our good friend and talented bass man, Dave Ford, on
hand for the night. Rod Ward was on hand too and
did an awesome job on lead guitar. Bonus, he has
a full repertoire of fun boot-scootin' songs to show
off his stylish vocals and keep those cowpolks dancin'.

Saturday night it was great to have original Probable
Cause bassist, Wayne Hopkins, on board
as well as wild-man, Jess Christen.
Before we even finished cranking everything back up,
the party had begun. Birthday party, that is.
Yeah our own Mike turned a year older at the stroke of
midnight, but the party was kicked off by a rollickin
group that pulled up in a birthday party bus and
entertained us for the first set. In fact they
even helped with sound-check and tuning. So we
jumped into our rendition of "Happy Birthday" and had
a blast taking requests from the party-goers.
These folks were so much fun, they set the mood for
the rest of the night and we had a great time!

Then after the traveling birthday
party bus headed for their next stop, the Rodeo bus
showed up and picked right up where they left off.
Thank you everyone for coming out to dance!
