Here we are at McKnight Hall in White for the annual Pioneer Days dance.  Oooo...air conditioning!  That was a huge bonus on this ultra-steamy Saturday.  While we were hoping to fill the place to the rafters, all the Pioneer Days die-hards who joined us after the hot and busy days' events were still rarin' to go.

Everyone was ready to dance and party!

Barefootin' 'cause of...a trend-setting stage style?...a secret 2nd Degree Blackbelt security weapon?...a mysterious sneaker thief?...       No, Mike's flip-flops just "don't have reverse" - a necessity for stage romping.

A sick and twisted fishing story?... no, this is just John explaining how much he DOESN'T like Neil Diamond or the song, "Sweet Caroline"...  sure he says that - but then he bounces and grins through the whole song.  He can't fool us, he's really a Diamond fan in denial.  Silly boy.

We were tickled that Stacy, Travis and Brian came out to the show and we couldn't resist coaxing our White Creek pals on stage for a few tunes.  You all know what awesome singers these two are, so it was a little like Christmas in July for PC to get to sing back-up harmonies with them, to play some great songs we've never played before and to just jam out with these fun fellas.  Our thanks, too, for the well-wishes and and all the kind words!

The next generation of musical Cotton's took to the stage for awhile and charmed us all!

Over the years we have played a lot of dances in this hall and it holds so many special memories.  We've helped couples celebrate their wedding day and watched singles court their soul-mate. John has celebrated a half dozen milestone birthdays here.  The accoustics in this hall are so incredible that we would often setup hours before a show and use the extra time to work up new songs or just jam.  And it was during setup here that Mike surprised us all with the first preview of our CD's final master.  Thanks for another great night of memories, White!
